Organic Sakura cherry tomatoes from Sheffield Organic Growers.
Particularly noted for its sweet flavour and firm texture.
As fresh as you can get without growing them yourself - we collect them from SOG on the morning of the co-op to send them to you.
[These were dodgy last time, so we are just getting a few to see if they've improved: order at your own risk!
They tasted fine, but the skins went very wrinkly very quickly. Nick said:
"i think it’s to do with the early trusses not forming the skin quite right on the tomatoes, Shouldn’t be an issue now the tomatoes are properly cropping. Will be picked less ripe now it’s August, I try to pick when properly red in July otherwise flavour isnt there in the tomato"]
