Who We Are
We’re Bakewell Organics, a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, dedicated to providing fresh, organic food boxes to our community. We aim to offer high-quality, ethically sourced food while supporting local growers and organic farming.
Ordering & Payments
- All orders are placed through our platform, Ooooby.
- You can browse, customize your order, and manage your subscription there.
- Payments are collected after delivery or collection to allow for adjustments due to substitutions or changes.
Order changes or cancellations must be made through Ooooby before the cut-off time, usually Monday PM of the delivery week. After that, we can’t guarantee modifications.
What’s in Your Box
- We strive to provide the freshest, highest-quality organic produce available.
- Occasionally, items may be replaced with similar alternatives due to availability.
While we prioritize certified organic suppliers, we also support local growers who follow organic principles but may not have certification.
Note: Organic produce may not always look “perfect,” but it’s always fresh and delicious!
Delivery & Collection
- Delivery drivers are selected based on your postcode.
- If we don’t yet cover your area, we’ll provide collection point options.
If you’re not home, we’ll leave your box in a safe place (if one is provided).
By specifying a safe place, you accept responsibility for the box once delivered.
We are not liable for loss or damage to boxes left in your safe place.
Food Safety & Allergies
- Please wash all produce before eating.
- While we try to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee allergen-free produce.
- Our packing facilities handle a variety of produce; cross-contamination may occur despite strict hygiene practices.
Returns & Refunds
- Let us know within 24 hours if there’s an issue with your box.
- Returns are not accepted due to the perishable nature of the food.
- We may offer a refund or credit—please provide details and photos if possible.
Your Personal Information
- We respect your privacy and use your data only to manage orders and communicate with you.
- We do not share or sell your personal details.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these T&Cs occasionally. The latest version will always be on our website.
Continued use of our services after changes implies acceptance of the updated Terms.

Health & Safety Policy (Volunteers)
Our Commitments:
- Provide a safe environment.
- Offer guidance on lifting, food handling, and equipment use.
- Ask volunteers to wear appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes.
We Ask You To:
- Follow health & safety instructions.
- Share any medical conditions relevant to volunteering.
- Report accidents or unsafe conditions immediately.

- Work only with ethical suppliers.
- No tolerance for forced labor or exploitation.
- Take immediate action if unethical practices are discovered.
