A new variety for us from the usually very reliable Orchard Organics in Armagh.
Portobello mushrooms are mature cremini mushrooms that have an intense flavor and meaty texture. They are low in calories and are a good source of 15 different vitamins, minerals and antioxidant phytonutrients including copper, selenium and B vitamins.
We will aim for 300g paper bags, but the sizes of these mushrooms can be a problem if they are very large. We'll get as close as we can and aim for that as a minimum.

I also want to say that all the produce is so beautiful and tasty. I’ve particularly enjoyed the range and variety available to choose from, but this week I found the sweet chestnuts a real treat.
